Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache located just off of Big meadows trail. You are looking for regular container.

The final cache will include the VSP wildlife card and a log book. This stage also has a "track trap"...a small sand box and a scent station to attract wild animals...mostly at night. Record your name and date of find in the log book along with any wildlife tracks you can identify in the sand of the scent station located next to the cache. The tracks in the scent station will be removed once a week and the scent refreshed, so the tracks you find should be relatively fresh.

This cache was part of the 2010 Virginia State Parks Geocaching Wildlife Adventure. This series ended on December 15,2010. However, the park has taken over this cache so it is still active. Rewards are no longer available for this cache, but we will be launching the Virginia State Parks 75th Anniversary Geocaching Adventure in March 2011.
