We urban ants spend a lot of time in the inner city and we want to introduce you to some of the interesting parks we have discovered. Britannia is abounded by the Elbow River and Elbow Drive. Although the area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, no significant development occurred until the late 1950s. Britannia is approximately 4 kilometers south of downtown and Elbow Drive and provides direct access to the central core. This cache is hidden in a lovely secret park. The parking coordinates look to be on a private driveway, but it is a public parking area. From there, walk a little north and then east along the edge of the yards. Pause at the survey marker and enjoy the view of the city. Then continue on to a secluded area to find the cache. The area is hilly, step carefully. There is a north entrance to the park as well, but you will just have to walk a little further. This is an off leash park, bring the dogs and let them run, the area is secluded and mostly fenced in.
