Geocache Description:

Cache hidden in the Cathays Park area of Cardiff City Centre. Bring Your Own Pen.

Originally a cache was placed in this location by Tortoiseshell but it had an issue with damp so benandbryher adopted it on 9th May 2011 and set about “renovating” it.

The coordinates appear a little off when viewed on Geocaching.com; the cache is fairly close to the path and the hedge, just past the entrance from the pavement on the inside of the park.

Cathays Park is a beautiful park very close to Cardiff City Centre with parking right outside. There is a rat trap close to the cache but you do not need to go anywhere near it.

We hope you enjoy this cache as it is hand made by Ben and may not appear to be the “usual” type. Although it is listed as a micro, the actual object is a little larger…
