KORSPRONK
Le Grand-Duché de Luxembourg a une superficie de 2586 kilomètres
carrés.
Six rivières majeures, la Sure, l'Our,
l'Alzette, l'Atterte, la Clerve et la Wiltz, coulent à travers le
pays et se jettent dans la Moselle. La Moselle, étant la rivière
principale du Grand-Duché, est un affluent droit du Rhin et en
débouche à Coblence en Allemagne.
Au sud du Luxembourg, prés du village Oberkorn
se trouve la source de la Chiers. La Chiers est la seule rivière au
Luxembourg, laquelle ne coulent pas dans la Moselle, mais qui prend
son chemin en direction sud-ouest pour déboucher dans la Meuse près
de Sedan en France.
Aux coordonnées données, vous allez découvrir la
source de la Chiers.
Vous pouvez stationnez votre voiture aux
coordonnées suivantes :
N 49 30.325 E 005 53.451
Vous pouvez évidemment emprunter un chemin de
votre choix.
Pour vous faciliter la promenade, rendez vous à
partir du Parking aux coordonnées
N 49 30.343 E 005 53 534. Ici vous trouverez une entrée d'un
sentier.Pointez ensuite les coordonnées du 'Earthcache'.C'est une
randonnée de 2 Km.
Près de la source vous trouverez un panneau
d'information.
P.S : Une traduction en français se trouve derrière ce
panneau.

1) Répondez aux questions suivantes :

53.951. Qu'est-ce qui est écrit sur le panneau ?
!!! Envoyez-moi les réponses par E-Mail et ne
les joignez s.v.pl pas à votre 'Log' !!!
2) Prenez vous en photo avec le GPS et la source
à l'arrière plan. (Voir 'Logfoto')
Vous recevez la permission pour votre log dans
les meilleurs délais. Par la suite, vous pouvez faire votre 'Log'
avec votre photo.

les visiteurs, je me vois obliger d'effacer les "Logs" sans

Das Grossherzogtum Luxemburg hat eine Fläche von
etwa 2586 Quadratkilometern.
Sechs grössere Flüsse, die Sauer, die Our, die
Alzette, die Attert, die Klerf und die Wiltz durchfliessen das Land
aus verschiedenen Himmelsrichtungen und münden in die Mosel. Die
Mosel ist der Hauptfluss von Luxemburg und mündet in Koblenz, als
rechter Nebenfluss, in den Rhein.
Im Süden Luxemburgs entspringt in dem nahe
gelegenen Dorf Oberkorn, die Korn. Die Korn ist der einzige
Wasserlauf in Luxemburg, welcher nicht in die Mosel mündet, sondern
in die Maas, bei Sedan in Frankreich.
An den oben angegebenen Koordinaten findet ihr die
Quelle der Korn vor.
Parken könnt ihr an folgenden Koordinaten:
N 49 30.225 E 005 53.451
Ihr könnt beliebigen Weg einschlagen um zum
Earthcache zu gelangen.
Als Alternative schlage ich vor, sich vom
Parkplatz aus zu den Koordinaten
N 49 30.343 E 005 53.534 zu begeben.
Dort befindet sich ein Eingang zu einem Fussweg.
Peilt nun die Koordinaten des ‚Earthcache’ an. Es ist
eine Wanderung von 2 Km.
In unmittelbarer Nähe der Quelle steht eine
Informationstafel.
PS.: Ein laminiertes Blatt mit einer deutschen
Übersetzung hängt hinter dieser Tafel.
Log-Bedingungen:
1) Beantwortet folgende Fragen:
• Auf welcher Höhe über dem Meeresspiegel liegt die
Quelle?
• Welche luxemburgischen Ortschaften werden nach der Korn
benannt?
• Wie lange ist der gesamte Flusslauf der Korn?
• Gehe nun zu N49 30.175 E005 53.951. Was steht auf dem
Schild?

2) Macht ein Foto von euch mit GPS, mit der Quelle im
Hintergrund. Siehe ‚Logfoto’.
Nachdem mir die Antworten zugeschickt wurden und alles stimmt,
wird ihnen die Logerlaubnis erteilt. Fügt ihrem Log dann ihr
Logfoto bei.
Viel Spass.

einzuhalten. Deshalb sehe ich mich gezwungen die Logeinträge ohne
Logfoto umgehend zu löschen.

The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg is approximately
2,586 square kilometers in size.
Six major rivers, the Sauer, the Our, the Alzette, the Attert,
the Clerve and the Wiltz flow through the country from different
directions, joining all the Moselle. The Moselle, as the main river
of Luxembourg, is a left tributary of the Rhine, joining it
easterly at Koblenz (Germany).
Well, in the south of Luxembourg raise a little river, called Kor
or Kuer in luxembourgish, Korn in german and Chiers in french. It
is the only river in Luxembourg, which is a right tributary to the
river Meuse or Maas.
The Kuer arise in an idyllic place nearby the little town Oberkorn
(L). On his way direction south-west, it takes along some other
little streamlet and after 16 kilometers the Kuer leaves Luxembourg
and leads nearby Sedan (F) into the Meuse.
At the given coordinates, I guide you to the source of the Kuer.
You can park your car at:

You can use any way or direction.
To simplify the trail, you can go to N49 30.343 E 005
53.534, where you will find a trail entrance. Go now direction
Earthcache.
It's a round-trip from about 2 km.
Nearby the source, you will find an Info panel with explanatory
notes.
