For lovesreward's birthday, we decided to hike up to the San Antonio Falls to enjoy the snow and to let esquimaux see with his own eyes the beautiful waterfalls. These falls usually flow year round, but during the winter months, such as when this Cache was hidden, the water is running at an amazing volume. Take time to hike the extra bit down to the falls - you won't regret the sight and sound of the roaring water as it cascades down the rocks. In 1992, lovesreward almost fell over the falls after hiking up the side - we don't recommend doing any such things as that - enjoy the view from the ground level! The rating is due to the fact you have to "hike" to the Cache location, which is easy now that it's a paved fire road all the way up. Don't forget to park in the forest, you must display an adventure pass! Enjoy the view from the cache - it is truly amazing and beautiful! *Update September 1, 2020* The Cache is now a black "decon" container hanging in a tree near a large downed tree and one that has been burned. Due to tree cover coords were a bit spotty for me. Watch for loose rocks as you climb up to grab it. New log book and a bit of swag.
