Geocache Description:

January 14, 2018 maintenance update.
=================================
Repair work on the bridge at the posted coordinates have recently been completed. The number of boards on the bridge have not changed.
I have also added some additional instructions on how to safely approach the cache container after you obtained the coordinates to the cache. The additional instructions can be found after TURN 8 in the instructions below.

Get ready to play a life size board game where you are the game piece. The final cache container is located well over 200 feet away from the posted coordinates.

You are looking for a medium sized peanut butter container. It has room for small trade items. Bring your own pen just in case the one inside the cache goes missing.

TIME TO PLAY THE GAME.
====================

The posted coordinates will lead you to the first BLANK Memorial Stone on the West side of the bridge. From there you will see many more memorial stones with names etched in them laid out in a counter clockwise rotation. This will be the game board you will be using to figure out the coordinates to the cache.

The only problem is that there is already a game in progress. Apparently the last player did not pay attention and did not keep track of where he was on the board. Being an impatient soar looser, he decided to get up and walk out of the game. To protect the identity of that player, we will call him "Mr. X".

Mr. X in his earlier game play, had already come up with partial coordinates which are shown below.
N 33° 4D.EFG W 084° 0L.MNP

Your job is to finish his game and come up with the rest of the numbers to find the cache.

To figure out where Mr. X left off, you must first count the number of floor boards on the bridge near the posted coordinates.(NO! I DID NOT USE "LUMBER YARD" TERMINOLOGY! SOME PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE SO I JUST WROTE IT IN PLAIN ENGLISH. ) You should come up with an odd number. Standing on the BLANK Memorial Stone on the West side of the bridge, move forward as many stones as the number of floor boards you counted. (DO NOT COUNT THE BLANK STONE YOU ARE CURRENTLY STANDING ON!)

TURN 1:Using the Stone you are now standing on, take the number of letters in the FIRST name PLUS 2 and place it in the variable matching the 4th letter in the persons LAST name.

TURN 2:Now move FORWARD 19 Stones. Take the number of letters in the FIRST name MINUS 1 and place it in the variable matching the 1st letter of the FIRST name.

TURN 3:From the Stone you are standing on take the total number of letters on that Stone and move FORWARD that many Stones. From the new Stone, take the number of letters in the FIRST name and place it in the variable matching the LAST letter of the LAST name.

TURN 4:From the Stone you are standing on, take the number of letters in the last name and move FORWARD that many stones PLUS 1. From the new Stone, take the number of letters in the FIRST name and place it in the variable matching the 4th letter of the LAST name.

TURN 5:OUCH! You just drew a PENALTY card. You must move BACKWARDS 30 Stones. From the new Stone, take the number of letters in the MIDDLE name and place it in the variable matching the 4th letter of the FIRST name.

TURN 6:From the Stone you are standing on, move FORWARD the number of letters in the last name PLUS 4 Stones. From the new Stone, place the number of letters in the LAST name MINUS 3 into the variable matching the 1st letter of the FIRST name.

TURN 7:WHOO HOO! You just drew a FLY FORWARD card! Move FORWARD 26 Stones. Take the number of letters in the LAST name MINUS 2 and place it in the variable matching the 1st letter of the FIRST name.

TURN 8:Move FORWARD the number of letters in the LAST name of the Stone you are currently standing on. From the new Stone, take the number of letters in the LAST name and place it into the variable matching the 7th letter of the FIRST name.

NOW GO AND FIND THE CACHE by following the mountain side creek bank to get closer to the cache location. Once you are closer and parallel to the final coordinates, you can trek up hill to the cache site much more safely.

I know I should not have to say this, but for those of you that have not played a board game before, make sure that you DO NOT count the Stone you are standing on before moving to the next Stone.

Congratulations to lynntb for the FTF!
