# 24 in the Shoreline series. Please be careful on this one, no children or pets. Cache is a cashew container roughly 5"x5"x5"
This cache is #24 in a series of caches dedicated to showing where the shore for the Auburn Lake would be if the dam were built. The surface of the lake would be 1,100 ft in elevation, from the overlook in Auburn to many miles up both the middle and north forks of the American River canyon. This cache is a bit closer to the 1,200 ft elevation. Wasn't quite how to rate this one on terrain. In winter, the road is closed and it will be a good hike from the parking area to the cache. Summer will be much easier since since vehicles can drive down the road to Lake Clementine. FTF: MarshallOD and My Dal Leo
