Mile Drive South Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

RoobyDoo: Visited cache today with Molly.
The cache wasn't in the host or on the ground.
I had brought a new cache in case, but the host was full of woodworm and disintegrating. I couldn't find a suitable alternative either, so have decided to archive.
A shame, but after twelve years, it has certainly had a good innings!
Thanks to all who visited and enjoyed.

Geocache Description:

Mile Drive was an avenue which was created in the 19th Century which went from the gates of Dauntsey House to Swallett Gate.
Later it became a biway. Since the M4 motorway was built, that cut the avenue in half. Fortunately a bridge was inserted (and a nice shiny new one at that!) to allow the avenue to remain.
This cache is South of the M4 motorway. Very limited parking is available at both ends of the Avenue.
