I would like to thank the staff at Sandwell Valley Management Countryside Team for allowing me to hide this cache.
It is ideal for this cache to be used in conjunction with the "Valley Series" of caches which would then form a great day out when visiting this area of outstanding beauty and recreation.
The woods are situated adjacent to Swan Pool and are used by birdwatchers, orienteering groups and hikers.
The cache consists of a camouflaged tupperware container which contains a log book and a pencil and some swaps.
Caution : you may have problems obtaing a GPS signal in this location but the co-ordinates have been double checked with two separate GPS devices.
Car parking is available at Swan Pool car park (N52 31.673 W001 57.785) just off Forge Lane, which in turn can be accessed off Newton Road or Park Lane. (near WBA football ground J1 M5)
