Just like it says on the tin. You will find this marker stone by the side of the path at the highest point of the road between Surprise View and Watendlath Tarn and although you can scarcely call it a road you can actually pass another vehicle coming in the opposite direction without marking the paintwork of either – probably better enjoyed on foot through the fairytale woods and meandering brooks. No history on this one – who the originator was we don’t know although we did read that a family of walkers took on the maintenance for most of the last decade – hope they’ve given it up to start Geocaching 
!!
