Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy cache to find. Ample parking is available and a great place for a picnic lunch. This is a grab and go cache.

In the Heart of Downtown Houlton you will find our newest park - Riverfront Park also known as Gateway Crossing.

This park provides some great historical information about Houlton, it's industrial past and some photo opportunities of this scenic spot.

Have some time? Take a stroll across the Gateway Crossing foot bridge and grab a bite to eat at Zippy's (not open in the winter) or catch a Movie at the Temple Theatre. There is also a walking path along the Meduxnekeag River that is well groomed and lit.

Also, be sure to have your camera ready as it is guaranteed that you will see a moose!!
