Geocache Description:

Nawate Street : It is one of the favorite places of me in Matsumoto ;-)

Cache is set up according to Nawate.
A straight, long road is called "Nawate".
Here was a thin and straight street where the spaces between the Matsumoto castle outside moat and the Metobagawa river.
Afterwards, it reclaims from the outside moat at the Meiji era.
However, the street remained.
Here became a pleasure-resort, and a lot of stalls were set up before long.
It is a shopping street where all aspects are redecorated in 2001, and an old town reproduced it.
The frog is a symbol on the Nawate street.
The frog festival has been held every year.

Cache is a cylindrical container of about 100ml.

キャッシュがある縄手通りの縄手は、まっすぐな長い道をいいます。
ここも、松本城の外堀と女鳥羽川の間の細いまっすぐな通りでした。
その後明治時代に外堀は埋め立てられてしまいますが、この細い通りは残りました。
やがて盛り場となり、多くの露店が構えられていましたが、2001年に全面改装され、昔の町並みを再現した商店街となっています。
縄手通りではカエルがシンボルで毎年かえるまつりを開催しています。

キャッシュは約１００ｍｌの円筒形の容器です。
