PRINT THIS PAGE!!! Bring a Flashlight!! It may be needed. We found this location by accident while taking a short hike. What we discovered was so fantastic that we thought we should share it. The terrain is 3.5 due to the first 150 yards or so. The hike after is mostly flat and very serene.
Please access the trail to the cache from these coordinates: N34 31.471 W 083 57.687. This is the only safe spot to access. It is in Yahoola Creek Park (8:00am-8:30pm) behind a softball field. Parking is less than 100 yards away. Use stealth accessing as to keep this location as pristine as possible. When reaching the zero point it will become obvious. Follow the trail up the hill after you have looked around. You will be going away from the cache coordinates. Please stay on the trail and don't bushwack. The trail will fork right and left about 150 ft. up the trail. Go right, back towards cache coordinates.
While searching for the cache enjoy the sunshine overhead. There are appropriate swag items in the cache feel free to trade with anything you have. There is A FTF Prize (marked) and A STF Prize (marked). I hope you enjoy this area as much as I have. We have been back many times in the last week.

Note: I am adding this note because too many people don't know what they are seeing. The hike in as described leads you to a bunch of old (1878) machinery. This machinery was a stamp mill used to crush rock to get the gold from it. The coordinates put you at the entrance to a gold mine. This particular mine is unlike most in Dahlonega as it is dug out of solid rock and has no offshoots or airshafts (much safer to explore). The cache is not in the mine. It is about 20-25 ft from the entrance. Be safe and enjoy.
