In 1998 the Humane Society of Missouri moved from where it had been since 1870 to a location across the street. The former location was made into a park where you can find tributes to both 2 and 4 legged friends. If you go hunting for this cache, be aware that the park can be very busy in the mornings with volunteers from both Stray Rescue and the Humane Society walking the shelter dogs. They start walking as early as 7 am and continue throughout the day until it is closed (6 pm on weekdays, 5 pm on Saturday and 4 pm on Sunday) but the area will be busiest between 7 and 11. If you take your own dog to help you sniff out the cache please remember to use the provided mutt mitts to leave things as tidy as when you came.
