One of a series of caches along the Whitmore Way designed to “get you walking”.
Next after Lower Orchard. The cache is a small cylinder about the size of a 35mm film container. The path is well signed but an OS map may be needed in places.
Cache contains log book but no pen due to size. It's name comes from the name of the field taken from map of Staunton dated c1843.
Recommended parking is at Corse & Staunton village hall where after a short walk along the A417 toward the village you will pick up the Whitmore Way signs. Using OS map you can park closer but be aware the roads are narrow with few places to park and the verges can be soft.
(Found it; now go for Shams Field)
