My Favorite Turnout Traditional Cache

Cache at large DOWNHILL turnout that requires a small amount of scrambling. To everyone, the landscaping changed the terrain but the cache has been checked several times since it was done.
Not pretty but short. I'll be checking as the 'landscaping' settles in.
Absolutely my favorite turnout. A thousand years ago my best friend and I were headed up the mountain to go skiing but caught in an incredibly slow line of cars. We were maybe car 10 when we came to this turnout. A Porsche some 5 cars back, downshifted and used the turnout to pass the entire line. Stupid? yes. But to two teenage girls - memorable.
A short time back I had the displeasure of following some good old boy in an old pickup who wanted me to know that I might have a sports car -- but he was in front. He dawdled down the mountain, braking at every curve and a couple times in between just to keep me in line. Knowin this turnout was coming up I was prepared. I was past him before he figured out what happened (not hard since he must have been doing all of 20mph). A YES! moment.
None of this is recommended, but highly pleasurable. Ample and easy parking. Easy to get back on 330. By the way, CHP often stakes out the upcoming passing lane (look for the small turnout about 2/3 down) so keep your speed down.
