A great new single track trail perfect for hiking or mt.biking. This is the City of Phoenix "Sonoran Mountain Preserve". One thing the city has done is a wonderful job of adding to the park system and preserving these types of area's for the enjoyment of all. There are several ways to access the preserve. Depending on where you start will determine the difficulty or length of time to the cache. Summer time you might opt for the shortest route. This time of year (winter/spring) is perfect. Take the long way !!! It is a desert park, watch for the creepy, crawly, biting, stinging things......and bring water !!! ABSOLUTELY NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES !!!!!
