For the little ones, loaded with swag, be sure to bring some of your own to swap! Also a nice resting place for your weary travel bugs! Plenty of room available! Feel free to post pictures of happy faces with cache! (But please none of the hiding spot!) This is a Great Cache to find for the first time Geo-cacher! Especially the kids to hook them on Geo-caching.
Another Tom Sawyer Cache. Since so many families appear to love this park for geocaching we wanted to add one the little guys could find and get a prize. A VERY LARGE Camo'd ammo can is what you seek, loaded with swag. I know most of us don't mind "Log onlys" but the kids love a treasure. It's hidden in one of the few areas of the park that are still cacheless, but not any more! When the spot was found back in February '10 it was pretty easily accessible and along a deer trail, but in summer the vegetation is in full effect so be aware of PI along the way. It has now moved to a new location and worth revisiting and finding again since the difficulty has increased. It is now closer to the clearing where the soccer fields reside and shouldn't require as much bush-wacking as before. Please be sure to replace and hide it just as you found it since this cache has been stolen several times and I'm running out of Ammo Cans! Great spot to leave your trackables. Be sure and bring along any stuff for the kids to replenish if you have any.
