Geocache Description:

Be sure to transfer the new coordinates to your GPSr. They have changed as of 4/18/2010.

Repeat finds are welcome since the cache has changed significantly. However, first to find has already been claimed at the previous hide.

This cache has an historical theme. Remember when every neighborhood had a hardware store? A place where you could get everything to fix anything, the employees could give you helpful advice, and they actually had good service? Well in Whittier, Sackett & Peters was one of those places. Family owned and family operated. There are not many of those places around anymore. Whittier is blessed with another one that has survived, but most succumbed to the big Orange and big Blue superstores. Myself, I really miss Sackett & Peters.

The cache is located near the Sackett & Peters location. The building is now occupied by Goodwill Industries. It is stocked with a few SWAG items and there is plenty of space for more. Add coins and bugs as you wish. The container is 16 ounces in size. Please be careful, it is very fragile. When you replace the cache, please take a moment to fluff the camo to make it fun for the next visitor.
