Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!

The posted coordinates are the best place to park.

HAPPY PI DAY! and Happy Birthday to my daughter who was lucky enough to be BORN on Pi Day!

Pi is a mathematical constant equal to the circumference divided by the diameter of any circle. It is an irrational number, which implies that it's decimal expansion goes on forever with no pattern. Although it has not been proven, it is very likely that pi is a "normal number" which means that every pair, triplet... 10-digit block... 100-digit block of numbers occurs at some place in it's decimal expansion and with the same probability as every other block of digits.

To put it simpler... your phone number is somewhere in the decimal expansion of pi... followed by your social security number. Some place in the decimal expansion of pi there are one million consecutive zeros... followed by one million consecutive ones.

The latitude and longitude of this cache are in the decimal expansion of pi, and I am going to tell you exactly where you can find them. You already know the degrees since it is hidden within walking distance of the posted coordinates.

The latitude of this cache begins at the 4,430,027th digit of pi and is 7 digits long.

The longitude of this cache begins at the 67,904,527th digit of pi and is 8 digits long.

I know you are probably dying to try... BUT rather than calculating the first 70,000,000 digits of pi by hand here is a convenient link that will tell you exactly what you want to know.
