The cache is NOT located at the posted coordinates. However, your journey will begin there. This is a mystery cache of a different kind. There is no “puzzle” to solve in advance. There is no Geochecker. You will have to go to the posted coordinates and figure things out using the directions and clues in this description.
You, intrepid Geocacher, have been hired by the residents of the town of Troy (no, not Troy, Indiana). They seek revenge. They’re still a little sore about that whole “Trojan horse” incident. Go to the posted coordinates and have a look around. You’ll be looking for a place where a Trojan horse might hang out.
Once you find that place, go there and have a look around. You’ll be looking for a set of hitchin’ posts for Trojan horses. It was these items that first led me to want to hide a cache here. Exactly why are these here? Never mind . . . don’t get distracted. Once you find the hitchin’ posts, you’re so close to the prize! (NOTE: The hitchin' posts (and the cache) are only about 265 feet +/- from the posted coordinates, so you won't need to wander far!)
Place yourself at the southern end of the southernmost hitchin’ post. Once there, you’re mere feet away from the cache. Turn on your Geosense and feel it out. If you need to, consult the hint to help hone in on the correct spot.
You will be searching for a magnetic keyholder hidden in an “Ice Breakers” sort of way. Please be careful while searching, as there is a lot of traffic in the area and this place can be MUGGLE CENTRAL at many times of the day and night. BYOP and have fun with this one!
