When you arrive at the coordinates
1. Look for a plaque and subtract 1972 from the year dedicated. The result will be AA. Add AA to the last 2 digits of the following west coordinates.

Now head to the following coordinates

2. You will come to a flower bed with weeping trees in it. Multiply the # of weeping trees by 16. (Temporary note as per Geodude2008 on 11/29/18, this waypoint is in need of a revision. The trees were 2 at the time of creation.) The result will be BB. Add BB to the following west coordinates
Now head to the following coordinates.
N 45° 51.094 W 122° 49.0BB
3. You are almost there. Now multiply the # of short posts you see by 1 and add 1. The result will =CC. Now add CC to the previous north coordinates. Then multiply the # of posts you see by 7. The result will be DD. Add DD to your previous west coordinates.
These result will N 45° 51.0CC W 122° 49.0DD
4. You are now ready to head to the final.
