Geocache Description:


The third in the hourglass series is placed in SGL 181 off Posey Road in southeastern York County. This cache is placed in honor of my grandfather who at one time managed the farm which covered most of the land adjacent to Posey Road, while still operating his own dairy farm a few miles away.

The parking lot on Blain Road (just off Posey Road) is a good place to park and begin. Hike is a relatively short one through the woods – beware there are some briars near the parking lot.

** After reading the first few logs, let me suggest parking in the lot on Blain Road but then proceeding back out to Blain Road and walking a short piece south to circumvent the briars surrounding the parking lot. After the initial briar patch there is an old logging road/deer trail you can follow to the cache. **

Cache is not visible unless an object is moved. Please leave the cache as you found it.
