This [i]is[/i] on airport property, against Guideline policy. The other 3 reasons are meaningless. There no requirement that cache need to be away from roadways, or have to have any parking nearby, or that they have to be archived just because one person doesn't find it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Capitol Area Council, Lonestar District

This cache has been placed as part of the Boy Scouts of America “Get in the Game” activities. Caching to Eagle is just one of the Geocaching activities that BSA has developed to help celebrate its 100th Anniversary.

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to 21 required merit badges, each Scout must complete an extensive service project that he plans, organizes, leads, and manages. On average, each Scout conducts 167 service hours as part of that project.

Caching to Eagle is designed to showcase these Eagle Scout service project sites.

There are twelve caches in this series. Each cache contains a clue. Once the twelve clues have been collected, arrange them in order to find the “bonus” cache. The “bonus” cache will only be active until December 31, 2010.

Not all projects are physical locations. For his Eagle Project, a Scout from Crew 100 put together hygiene kits which would be given to anyone who was forced to move or evacuate because of natural disaster. The hygiene kits included a hand towel, bar of soap, tube of toothpaste, toothbrushes and a comb. Once assembled, the kits were transported to a warehouse for storage until they were needed.

This cache is placed within the boundaries of the Lonestar District.
