This area was known as Suicide Hill for many years. As a kid I
remember almost ending up in the street after sledding down.
The area was fenced in around 1993 and was supposed to be a
memorial for the members of Local 3 International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers who died on 9/11/01 at the WTC.
Bushes were put in and it spells out Electchester.
Electchester is the development next to the property.
There was never a dedication and if you just wandered by you
would have no clue what this area was supposed to be.
