A short hike from the paved road on a wide trail, except for the last 100 feet.
This cache is named after the Chocolate Lily plant that is growing only a foot beyond the container. This is a beautiful flower to look at but you will only want to smell it once. Because of its ghastly smell, the Chocolate Lily is also called , Skunk Lily, Dirty Diaper and Outhouse Lily. They only flower in the early spring so if you want to see these flowers visit the cache in February or March.
The day I placed this cache there was a nice stream flowing a few feet from the cache. I do know that the this area is very hot and dry much of the year.
