Geocache Description:


A rest-stop off the beaten path. It is very secluded except for noise of vehicles. You can see the old railroad. There are two historical markers here as well, which may be why they will keep this area open: Captain A.C. Jones and Trails of Texas.
I used to work a graveyard route and this was the best place to catch some ZZZZZZZZZss. Most interesting expierence was one night i was sleeping and a tap at the window scared the livin' daylight out of me. It was two police officers. The assumed i had too much to drink. They did not belive I work for the company the van belong too. Luckily this route I picked up nothing from my locations, so the van was completely empty as they looked inside the vehicle. I told them i was done w/ my route. I told them what i did for the company. I showed them my I.D. badge. So they were cool w/ me after that. So i asked why they were there. And wouldn't you know it they were looking for someone. They looked all over this area and they left. Since there are prisons in the area i got the "heck out of dodge"

Anyway now you get to enjoy the serene area ENjoy.

watch out for snakes and nearby there is an animal hole so be carefull at night. Might have a problem w/ muggles so hopefully you can wait them out. I had to just to place the cache aalmost 30 minutes. There is a lot of trash so tthere might me late night muggle as well.
