I thought of the name for the cache when I saw that the old railroad ties in this area that are still in the ground and are disappearing amongst the vegetation growing here. The rail is long since gone but the ties still lead your eyes toward the horizon. It made me think about what was here in the past and how busy this town was with the railroad. So much of it is now gone!
Please bring a pen/pencil to log your find.
This section of the Trans Canada Trail, located on an old rail line (tracks have been removed), is a popular route for people to use as a cut through from one road to another or for dog walking so, of course, muggles may be near.
BEWARE! of the poison ivy that is located on the trail between Bend in the Track (GC24VPQ), which is north of here, and this cache! It is growing quite close to the main trail! I did not notice any around the caches just along the main trail in this section
