Ancient Free & Accepted Masons
Many of this country’s Founding Fathers were Masons, as were other important figures in the history of this great country. You may be surprised to learn how many of our past presidents and military leaders held the title of “Master Mason”. Masons carry on the work today as a charitable, Christian fraternity based on Christian morality and the principle of divine guidance to serve their country, community and mankind. To be one, ask one.
Check out this antiquated graveyard and you’ll find a lot of history and a little mystery! It’s a little off the beaten path but, well worth the visit. You’ll find a few old headstones and footstones here at the site of an old church and the first Masonic Lodge in Medina County. Take the time to read the Historical Marker, learn the mystery and see if you can solve it!
Muggles shouldn’t normally be a problem. Please be respectful and take no “souvenirs” from the site. You’re looking for a camo, waterproof, micro container. Inside you’ll find the log and one of my FTF signature items. Keep it for yourself if you like. Bring a pen.
