One stage multi to remember one of the early settlers. Final is now a micro with logbook only, so bring your own pen.
When Lake Ruataniwha was built this memorial had to be moved to safer ground. It is now hard to imagine what happened to early settlers if you see the peaceful lake. But there used to be a river with the memorial. Find this memorial and gather information to find the cache. From there you have a nice view along the rowing course. The final is just a short stroll from the memorial.
If there is a regatta in progress stealth is required and please be quiet so you do not disturb the rowers.
Final location is S44.16.ABC E170.04.DEF with
A = number of letters in the surname
B = calculate the digit sum of the year when it happened and substract the smaller number from the greater
C = number of letters of the 'activity' they tried
D = month of the incident
E = number of letters in the first name of the adult
F = memorial errected in 195F
Cache had to be moved, please correct your result by adding 27 to the South coordinate and subtract 3 from the East coordinate.
