The cache is a small tablock box in a black sack and contains a logbook a pencil and some small swaps.
The NIHE gifted this 1.4ha site in 2000 as a Woods on your Doorstep site for Larne. It consisted of two large grass fields at the top of cliffs above the Glenarm Road coastal route from Larne town to Ballygalley village. It lies on the seaward edge of the Seacourt housing estate in north Larne and adjoins the grassland left over from the housing demolition of Channel View in 2002. There are panoramic views over the Irish Sea to Scotland & the coast from North Down to North Antrim. Seacourt Community Council recently nstalled a telescope beside the entrance to the wood, which enhances these spectacular views.
