Geocache Description:

I know some cachers don’t like multis – maybe a lot of work for one smiley? However, I do enjoy them so I decided I should have one, but I have made this a very quick one!

The co-ordinates given are for the first stage.
If you have the time I recommend that you delve further into West Felton as it is a charming village with a number of old quaint cottages and a nice church, St Michael’s, mainly situated off to the western side of the main road through the village.
Prior to the construction of a by-pass in the 1970s, this main road was part of the A5 – the London to Holyhead route which was constructed in the early 19th century by the famous engineer Thomas Telford to improve communication links between London and Dublin.
The road was designed to carry stagecoaches and if you wish you can follow in the original travellers’ wake by partaking of refreshment in the village’s old coaching inn, The Punch Bowl.

To find the co-ordinates for the cache, simply answer the following questions:

Stage 1. Note the dates of the most recent war mentioned: A B C D – E F G H.

Stage 2. Note the dates of the Revd. W C Haslehurst’s ministry: I J K L – M N O P

Now you can establish the co-ordinates for the cache:

N H (A+E) GF.GHE W OO(C-A) PJ.IGC
