Geocache Description:

This cache is similar to the "Where's Tripper?" series of caches
up in Peterborough. You have to find the landmarks, places, or
objects shown in the pictures, and then project the given bearing.
Where ever your bearings cross, that's where the cache is.

It is also one of the caches needed to find the final for the Clarington Winter Thaw 2010 series.

In order to find this cache you will need to find the 2 'Mystery Locations' and project a bearing from each. The locations are found within town and shouldn't be too hard to find. They are typically well known and sometimes busy areas. Look the pictures over closely cause they may contain clues in the background to help find their exact location. Then you can use your GPS to project the bearing indicated with each picture. Where your bearings cross will be the cache location. Obviously not everyone will be able to project the exact location but it will be close so you might have to do some searching.

From here, project a bearing 5KM at 111t

From here, project a bearing 5KM at 61t

Now you will have an point at which these two bearing cross. Go to that spot and start searching. There is parking not too far from this location and the walk there should be fairly easy. The container is a small one containing a logbook. You need to bring your own writing implement. There is not much room for more than a Geocoin or two so please don't stuff it full.

Please feel free to post pictures of yourself at each mystery location.

Please be somewhat stealthy when finding and re-hiding the cache as sometimes the area can be busy with muggles. Enjoy!

Update May 5, 2014 - Container has been replaced. It's now a small bison tube. You do not need to remove cache to open it. Just unscrew the bottom. Thanks.
