Geocache Description:

The multi-cache, also known as “The Sly Wild One,” takes you on an adventure to follow the trail one of Virginia’s wild animals. See if you can guess what animal you are following. The terrain is only slightly hilly, but there is some up and down.

This is a four stage cache (plus one extra waypoint to keep you going in the right direction) that takes you on a trail to discover the identity of one of the park’s wild animals. Each stage will give you the information you need to find the next. The total hike will be about a mile but the terrain is pretty friendly…it’s ok to take the kids.

This cache is part of the Virginia State Parks Geocaching Wildlife Adventure. Each state park has a cache for this series, each with a unique collector’s card. There are small prizes for finding 5, 10, 20, and ALL of the caches. Most parks require a small parking fee while geocaching. For more information go to: www.virginiaoutdoors.com.
