Geocache Description:

Paved for most of the way but gives way to a grassy route, bumpy in places. The above co-ordinates are for the first clue, free parking is available at the co-ordinates below. The route will take you along the Cob which is a very pleasant and popular walk, especially with dog lovers. (Alternative approach to cache is from N53°14.889W003°59.889 with limited parking) (The tree the Cpn. mentions seems to have finally given up the ghost)

Extracts from the diary of Capt. Henry Morgan (privateer) dated 1675.
"Hid another cache of booty today, these rhymes will help to find the way
Clue No1. at N53°15.307 W003°59.597
Ye bottom man doth sit in space,
Three sets of numbers he doth face.
The top and bottom I must add,
If westward numbers make me glad.
(giving the Y part)

Clue No.2 at N53°14.973 W003°59.932
Here's a tree that will not die,
Pause a while don't pass it by.
To glance is fine, to search is good,
You'll see the numbers writ in blood.
(giving the X part)"

The booty is hid at N 53°15."X" W 003°59."Y"

The saltmarsh at Glan y Mor Elias is a magnet for roosting seabirds as well as migrating birds and "twitchers" are a common sight. On a less salubrious note, the land where the cache is hidden used to be the local rubbish dump.

Finally, placed on a perfect day for satellite readings so the co-ordinates should be pretty good. Cache is a 1 litre snap lid plastic box in a camo bag with as much goodies as I could cram in.
