This cache is in an area that used
to be called Deer Park. It was a fenced in area owned by the major
car company to the southeast of the site. Deer were kept in the
park for people to feed or just observe.
It is also where I had a close
encounter with a skunk. I was standing at the fence looking for the
deer when a skunk came strolling by on the other side of the
fence...maybe 3 or 4 feet from me! Needless to say, I FROZE!
Apparently he had business elsewhere, because he just went on his
merry way! I guess it was my lucky day!
