A CITO event on Saturday April 24th, from 10AM - 11.30AM Time to
give back to the Salem community and spread some geocaching good
will.
The Salem Area Geocaching Association adopted a new section of
road - Right by Minto Brown Park!
River Road South will be our new Adopt a Road project as there
is always a wealth of caches nearby.
This particular weekend of April (24/25, 2010) was designated by
Groundspeak as International Geocaching CITO weekend.
So come join us and spend time with local cachers- a great
opportunity to put names to those logs, share caching tips and plan
caching adventures. And also be part of the much larger
International Community as CITO events are going on all over the
world this weekend.
The event will take place rain or shine. Dress for the weather.
Gloves, bags and grabbers will be supplied by the City of Salem,
snacks and water from our generous sponsors. All ages are welcome
with proper supervision.
We will meet up in the closest parking lot of Minto Park and go
from there. Trinkets, prizes, and a raffle for those that remain to
the end.
