You can park on Waterside Road in Summerseat at N 53° 37.884 W 002° 19.011 - there is a children's playground here which could be used for bribery with small children ("You can have a play after we've done a little walk...")!
The path on the far side of the playing field is too swampy for comfort, so it's best to head up the cobbled path from the far end of Ruby Street. You will pass a great spot for photographing the steam trains on their way to and from Summerseat halt.
WARNING: PLEASE NOTE it would be dangerous to try and scramble up to the cache directly from the Brooksbottom path that leads to Gollinrod Gorge.
When you get close to the cache location, keep children close to you and dogs on leads, as there are DANGEROUS unfenced drops not far away. The cache is in a steep but not precarious position - there is no need to go far down the slope. Please tuck the cache back in carefully and put some stickoflage over it!
The cache is a lock 'n' lock box containing a few bits and bobs, log book, pen and pencil.
