Geocache Description:

Small cliplock container with a logbook and pencil. There's enough room for a few small trackables. This is part of the 'Star Wars' series of caches....find the bonus 'DEATH STAR' cache. Each cache is no more than 30mins from a parking place but tackling the complete series will take a few hours and contains a few hills. Note: the Mytchett Canal Visitors Centre car-park barrier is closed after hours to all but campers. For access times, see :http://www.basingstoke-canal.co.uk/

 width=800

These caches are on Ministry of Defence owned land, within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (the land attracts ground-nesting Woodlarks). Permission to cache here is conditional on cachers causing no noticeble disruption. Please do not disturb any fauna or flora; do not start fires or camp on the land; take litter home with you and generally don't annoy the locals (whether they're carrying SA80s or not).

Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights.

Apologies to G.O.Cash who got to the listed location first. Congratulations to monkeys-oaa for the FTF after I'd corrected the co-ordinates!
