How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A standard Ammo Box with a logbook and pen. There's plenty of space for trackables and lots of star-wars and general space related geo-swag goodies.

The cache is not at the published coordinates....the evil Empire is never so obvious. Find the clues in all the nearby 'Star Wars' caches to reveal the location of the 'Death Star' before it's too late. Determine the number of the Star Wars hero hiding on each planet. Use these numbers to calculate the final coordinates.

 width=800

(For paperless cachers:1=Yoda,2=Luke,3=Chewie,4=Han,5=Maul,6=Sidious,7=Obi, 8=Leia,9=Vader,10=R2)

The Death Star can be found at:

N51 [Tatooine-Coruscant][Dagobah+Mustafa] . [Hoth+Geonosis][Endor+Dagobah][Yavin]

W00 [Geonosis+Dagobah][Dagobah-Naboo] . [Geonosis][Kamino][Endor]

These caches are on Ministry of Defence owned land, within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (the land attracts ground-nesting Woodlarks). Permission to cache here is conditional on cachers causing no noticeble disruption. Please do not disturb any fauna or flora; do not start fires or camp on the land; take litter home with you and generally don't annoy the locals (whether they're carrying SA80s or not).

Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers, flags or lights.

Congratulations to G.O.Cash for the FTF!
