It amazes me sometimes how many caches don’t live up to the
number of stars the cache owner gives them. As a fellow cacher has
said “people tick a 1 star for the terrain on a woodland
trail, with vines over it, that goes to an edge of a cliff, and has
no satellite reception.” Like us, I’m sure you could
all attest to finding 5-stars that took less time and effort than
1-stars.
In an effort to be consistant with the “true”
meaning of what stars should mean, this is a FOUR. Fours should be
hard (harder than a 3 and not as hard as a 5) and this one should
be. Fours may even cause you to have to come back and look some
more. Fours sometimes befuddle large groups of searchers. Fours can
include some slight of hand and misdirection. Fours may not be what
you thought it was. But then again, it might be. Or not!
You’re looking for an orange (a nice OSU color) bison
tube. Please be extra careful when returning the log and replace as
well as you found it.
You’ll need to bring your own writing instrument.
Have fun!
Congratulations to 2-trees for FTF!
