Geocache Description:

The name of this cache says it all about one of the many reasons we love about living in Hope, "Gateway to Holidayland".  This sign used to be on the exit from the hwy into town but has since been replaced by the new sign "Experience Hope".  The new sign encourages vistors to stay and explore the area and we have some great provincial parks within 15 minutes of town, as well as municipal parks to enjoy.  We like to do both: experience our town and all our province has to offer beyond.  We can be camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, skiing, snowshoeing, cycling or goldpanning within a few minutes of our home.  Hope is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise and we try to take advantage of all that the great outdoors has to offer here.  We hope you enjoy your visit here, whether you are holidaying in town or passing through to holiday somewhere else.
