Mrs. Timmons owned the little log store which was located close by. John Cordonia bought the store off her and built a new one. It still stands unused close to the hall. John then built the now standing Barnhartvale Hall. Folks from all over would come to the dances making good profits for John. As years went by the Hall fell into the hands of the community.
