It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

Geocache Description:


This cache is located at a park in the middle of town, hence the name. It’s always fun to sit and watch the changes in the scenery throughout the year. Late winter early spring the west end will be covered in small crocus blooms, then the wisteria blooms on the arches, in the summer the fountain has been repaired and is back up and running, and in the fall the trees turn their beautiful fall colors and then lose their leaves as we head back into winter. Have a seat and take a look around, there’s a place for the kids to play, look to the north.. do you see Alice? Be sure and check her out and the library gardens around her. Look to the west, there’s Marlon and you can almost hear him say “I’ll wait right here while Jim finishes wrestling that bear”. Be sure to walk over to the south side and look at some real heroes! In the summer the muggles will be obvious and stealth will be key, but if you time it right you shouldn’t have any trouble. You are looking for a small container with room only for a log so bring your own writing instrument. FTF will be rewarded with something I received for FTF from one of Dareguy’s earlier Park Series caches. Be sure and place the cache back exactly as it was so the muggles won’t spot it.
