Situated less than 10Km from the end of Mughsayl Beach, the Furious
Road is a marvel of British engineering completed in the 80's.
The cliff hugging road traverses both sides of a deep Wadi via a
series of sharp hairpin corners. From the base of the Wadi to the
top of the Yemen side of the Wadi, the road climbs over 1200Ft.
If you approach the cache from Salalah there is no need to drive
up the Yemen side of the Wadi to complete the cache. You're missing
the best bit of the Furious Road if you don't though and its only a
short journey.
WARNING: Very rarely the Wadi flows with water. It is unwise to
atempt the cache when water is flowing in the wadi.
