Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on the grounds of Mudchute City Farm. I think the cache could be tricky.

The farm is free, and easy to get to via public transport. The farm is open from 9am till 5pm.

This cache is located on the grounds of Mudchute City Farm. It's a little slice of country life in the heart of the city. It's a real working farm set a large green park. The farm is home to many animals such as horses, goats, sheep ( who can be found roaming around the park ), llamas, chickens, birds, rabbits, cows, and pigs. If you like, you can buy a bag of feed for only 50p and give the animals a snack!

This is a lovely place, the kids will love it! And the best thing is it's free. If you do go, and enjoy it why not leave a donation since it's pretty expensive to run the farm.

While there you can stop at the farm shop to buy some fresh laid eggs and a few other farm related items or eat at the farm kitchen cafe. If you are hungry or thirsty The cakes are homemade as is the bread! Very yummy! I recommend either cakes or sandwiches made with home made bread, mmmmmm.

If you are traverling via public transport you can use the DLR. If you get off at Mudchute station you are basically right outside the entrance to the farm grounds. You could also get off at Crossharbour DLR stop. There is an Asda here where you can find toilets, and parking N51 29.692 W00 00.764 takes you to the edge of thr car park.

You are not looking for the usual type of container! Please make sure you put the cache back in the exact same spot, and that the thing that contains the log book is screwed tightly so that the paper won't get wet. The area can be quite muddy so it's important that the paper is kept dry. Thanks.

Please note that there is no pen inside the cache so please be sure to bring one so that you can sign the log book.

Happy caching! Hope you enjoy the farm and cache! There is a first to find badge hidden inside the cache for the taking!
