Geocache Description:

Great walk along the river. Some steep sections and be careful of the river bank in places. Do not cross washout, go around.

Because of civil remedial action in this area the geocache will be reactivated once the work is completed. Should be in the fall sometime.

River trail not commonly known. Enter from two locations. Park at gate on Cowart and walk down road towards the river. Trail starts south side of last pumphouse. Alternative entry from mouth of Parkridge creek. Park on Sarah Pl. and take trail that will follow the creek to the river. Start there. Do not go to the Cache from new subdivision at the end of Malaspina, that would be cheating and you would miss a nice trail walk. I suggest park a car at both ends and walk the whole trail. Cache location a nice place for a snack.

Relocated bees no longer an issue in summer of course.
