Just a little side trip from on your way to the wet side or to the dry side on 20.
Some believe it is from under Black Butte.
Others believe from somewhere in the Cascades.
All I know is, Whoosh, there it is.
And there it goes. Cold. Clear. Clean.
There are a lot of attractions in this area and a few caches also. Try going downstream to the fish hatchery and look around. Bring your camping gear and plan on spending a weekend in the area.
This cache is not located at the main attraction due to the confined space and no real spot to hide a cache. But it is in a parking spot for the attraction. After finding the cache, take a little hike down the trail and take a look at the largest one of its kind in the state.
The cache is located near the parking area and in part of an old Ponderosa Pine.
The cache has been updated to an ammo can as of 05-14-02.
It is an Okay hide, not real well hidden but not an accidental find either.
02-27-10 - Updated cache coordinates and a new logbook as well as some new swag.
