E4 - Go for a swim?
The E4 is a long distance path of some 10,500 km criss-crossing
all the countries in Europe. In 2005 a Cyprus section of 640 km was
added. Part of it goes along this dramatic stretch of the northern
coast in Akamas, and we think it would be a good place to start a
series of caches along the route.
To get here we recommend that you leave your car in the car park at
Aphrodite's Bath (N35°03.369, E032°20.806) and do the rest
on foot. If you have a 4WD vehicle it is possible to drive all the
way, but it is not encouraged and, please be warned that you go at
your own risk on some hairy roads.
This cache is close to a small cove where we have sometimes taken a
quick swim before continuing on our way.
