Cache is Approx 600m down a Public footpath
This cache is located near what I belive to be pretty much all that is left of the Snailwell Airfield. It was a grass Airfield that was used March 1941 to October 1946 mainly by the American Air Force, but the R.A.F., including 302 Polish squadron, and the Royal Belgian Air Force also operated from it. The only other traces of its heritage are from concrete standing that can be see further down the track.
be wary retriving this cache for the a walk is popular with muggles and thier dogs.
Please place back carefully under plenty of cover to ensure that it isn't accidentally found / vandalised or stolen.
